remember that one time countless PoC said they don’t trust white liberals? yeah, about that…

 it creates a sideshow out of urban (black) kids in their attempt to learn about nature through the hiking experience..

*sigh*

it does point out the vast ignorance of inner city (black) kids and nature…..I suppose most KIDS are ignorant of nature/wilderness to be exact. The fact that it is titled “Ghetto” does eliminate the whole “KIDS say the darnedest things” argument because the title specifies “who” is saying these things…no longer is it about KIDS..its about Black ignorance, which has a bit of a sting to it…especially when the author is probably white, and so are the majority of the readers
